UFO Club with Vicki Halliday

Have you got a skirt waiting for a hem? Or a shirt waiting for buttons? Or a project in time-out because it’s not-quite-right? Why does that last task to finish a garment sometimes sit & wait for everrrrrrrr? Why not bring it to one of our monthly UFO Clubs to get it finished in comfort so you can actually wear it!

We’ll whack on the tunes & bring maximum motivation to get that thing out of your UFO pile. Plus you get to show off your fabulous work to your new friends at UFO Club! Vicki will be on hand if you need any pointers.

You’ll have full access to sewing machines & iron, all the tools, thread & scraps you’ll need & Vicki’s on hand if you need any pointers. You’ll be fuelled by tea, coffee & biscuits. Feel free to bring a beer or wine if that’s your jam.

Vicki Halliday is the co-owner of The Good Stitch. Before she opened the shop, she worked in theatre & higher education, as a Costume Supervisor, Wardrobe Manager & Costume Maker. Vicki loves sharing the joy of sewing & creating with textiles. She is a patient teacher who believes in the power of self-learning, guiding her students to find that Aha moment & to reach their sewing goals.
