Tunisian Crochet

Try a new, fun way to crochet & take your skills to the next level. Tunisian or Afghan crochet is a bit like crochet & a bit like knitting, using a long crochet hook it works up fast into a dense & squishy, textured fabric. Each row is completed by working two passes, first working all the stitches onto the hook then working them all off again. There are more textured stitches to achieve than in crochet alone & it’s great for making anything from blankets & cushions to hats, scarves & jumpers.

In this 2-part workshop over two Saturday afternoons, you’ll learn all the essentials & get to grips with the long hook, understand how to read the pattern & make some different textured stitches.
