Sew a Rye Jacket with Vicki Halliday

Sew yourself an unlined spring jacket in this special workshop set over a Friday evening & the following Saturday. With Vicki’s support, you’ll learn loads of great techniques like sewing a collar, facings, patch pockets, understitching & buttonholes.

The Rye Jacket pattern by Sussex Seamstress is perfect for the changing seasons & can be made in any mid-weight fabric like denim, heavy linens, wool & wool blends & upholstery fabrics - great for repurposing your old curtains. You’ll need around 2m of fabric depending on your size & pattern placement. The pattern size ranges from UK 8 to 30 with corresponding bust size 33” to 55”.
