Sew A Christmas Tree Drawstring Bag

In this class, you will learn how to make a lined drawstring bag in the shape of a Christmas tree. The lining is even tree-shaped too, or can be made without points for a quicker sew. There are patterns for small, medium & large bags - big enough for a hard-backed book. As well as becoming expert in sewing corners, you’ll learn how to make a neat finish for the drawstring casing.

All materials are provided but feel free to bring your own if you need your gift-wrapping trees to match the rest of your festive decor. Half a metre of two fabrics for outer & lining is enough to make all three sizes. You’ll sew on our Janome sewing machines & all required equipment is available to use.
