About the Event
Sew up sustainable & reusable crowns for your Christmas parties using scraps & special sparkly notions.
Make them bold & bright or lacy & delicate so everyone can wear a crown that suits them at the Christmas dinner table. These are especially great if you’ve decided not to use single-use crackers this year. You can add them to your reusable crackers or place them on your table settings ready for your guests. And best of all, these use up loads of little scraps of fabric & sparkly bits.
All materials & equipment are provided but feel free to bring in your own choice of fabrics & decorative bits for your crowns. As we don’t specifically sell Christmas fabric in the shop, we’ll be mixing up all kinds of sparkly & bright fabrics & notions.
A basic understanding of using a sewing machine is required for this workshop, it is suitable for beginners who have done our Introduction to Machine Sewing class.
