Summer Hat Pattern

Here is our own 2-in-1 Summer Hat Pattern. Including patterns and photo-illustrated instructions for both a Sun Hat and a Bucket Hat.
 
The Sun Hat has a wide brim for turning up to frame your face or down to snooze in the sun. The Bucket Hat has a narrow brim & shorter side so it doesn’t need adjusting while you wear it. Both hats are entirely reversible with a neat finish & feature lots of top stitching instead of pressing so you can just enjoy the sew. The pattern is sized from 1 year old to adult extra large at 63cm head circumference. 

You need about half a metre of fabric for each side of the hat plus about a metre of iron-on interfacing. And just in case the Summer doesn’t make the appearance we’d like, you can sew a wet-weather version in a water repellant fabric instead.
